Pandemic, the Boardgame

So there I am sitting in one of our local gaming stores on a Tuesday night looking for a pick up game of whatever someone wants to play. After awhile I have finally got 2 otheer players interested in playing something. We check out the available games and spot everybody's favourite plague and pestilence cooperative game: PANDEMIC.

"This is a good fun and challenging game," I tell the fresh faced innoccents who have decided to try it. "The worst I have ever done in the game is be dead by the first player's second turn (5 turns). As long as nothing epically bad happens we should last at least 20 minutes maybe 25."

NEVER I repeat NEVER!!!!! say something like this while playing Pandemic. This brought about my new record for fastest game played as we proceeded to die horribly by the 3rd turn.

My overall record now for Pandemic and it's expansion On The Brink is now 8-17. One of those victories I must say with some pride was with 7 Epidemic cards laced through the deck.

If you ever get the chance to play, DO it is worth the time and you will be hooked.
